Her hardest hue to hold
Posted by Kevin on September 15th, 2009I’m not always fond of the standard literary tattoo, but Alora somehow makes this look good. Obviously I’m being sarcastic, we all know why it looks so good – it’s a Robert Frost poem (and her lack of a shirt doesn’t hurt either.)
Nothing Gold Can Stay
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
