Flattery at the lowest level
Posted by Julene on September 17th, 2009While imitation may be the most sincere form of flattery, having your custom tattoos (and blog posts) ripped off totally sucks. We’ve been live for a week now and already another website seems to have taken an interesting course of action in mashing up things I’ve written and re-posting it as if it were their own.
Let me tell you guys a little story. I have these ridiculous tattoos of pink brass knuckles on the backs of my thighs. Being that I have a problem with internet usage, I posted photos of them online mere hours after I had them done. Two days later a girl I happened to share some common internet ground with had the same tattoo mysteriously appear on one of her hands–except poorly done, thank God. Needless to say, upon seeing such a thing I was fucking livid. But then I realized that my tattoos (and ass, as you can see) looked pretty nice, and hers would be easily recognized for the poor replication that it was. A poorly done hand tattoo is forever, usually.
It’s with that in mind that I want to say, thanks for ripping off our blog’s content. It’ll be all the sweeter as your traffic continues to fall and everyone continues to not comment on your articles because they are boring. A week in the game and we already have biters–you must be skurred!

You didn’t give yourself a hot snob tag?
@Kevin – That would be my false modesty at work.
The most famous one I have heard of is Tim Kern’s pirate chest piece he did on Amina Munster, then copied hideously badly by some schmuck… As far as I recall a lawsuit was involved
Ripped off already? Douchebaggery knows no bounds >:(
