Recap: St. Louis Old School Tattoo Expo

Posted by Kevin on November 16th, 2009

Saturday I spent the day hanging out at St. Louis Old School Tattoo Expo. Below are my attempts to photograph the event, and take in the sites. By no means am I a professional photographer, as the pictures show below.

The event is called the Old School Tattoo Expo, and Bill and Michelle do an outstanding job staying true to the title. Between Lyle Tuttle shuffling around the event, the older generation telling war stories around Dana Brunson’s booth, and the Tattoo Museum bringing in the Paul Rodgers and Sailor Jerry machines – the event had a very classic feel. Tattoo artists such as Bob Tyrrell, Darrin White, and Tim & James Kern help balance that with their cutting edge work.
