Breaking the stride

I get tired of looking at the same tattoo pieces over and over again. Not the exact same piece, but the same perspective of a skull, or the same koi fish with waves or japanese clouds around it. It’s refreshing when you can look at a tattoo artists portfolio and not see those pieces. The tattoo artist I’m talking about right now is Nick Baxter.

This piece is a great example, the way the top fades into the wrist and the indentation in the skull matches up with the wrist joint. There’s nothing generic about this piece.
