Judge Judy
Posted by Kevin on December 30th, 2009Who doesn’t love some midday Judge Judy?
Basically, Ashley, a sixteen year old female, decided to get a tattoo, unbeknownst to her Mother. The tattoo shop didn’t check her ID, instead they just took her $40 and gave her a gnarly heart puzzle piece on her shoulder. Mom eventually saw it, and was obviously a little pissed, and thinks the tattoo shop should float the $5,000 to have it removed.
Now, this is where it gets funny.
The tattoo shop had to say the following things in their defense:
“She willing did it, she was enjoying the tattoo. She laughed, she had fun.”
“She presented herself as an adult when she walked by the “No Minors” sign.”
“She sat in the chair all by herself, and she paid for the tattoo.”
“I can’t card everyone that walks through the door, that would be totally ridiculous.”
As funny as this is, it’s obvious it happens unfortunately too often, and I don’t think that’s ever going to change. Thankfully plenty of tattoo artists are more than willing to do a cover up.
