Straight edge word work

Seems like there’s quite a few “ask and ye shall receive” readers out there–since posting about a lack of lettering on here we’ve received photos of some nice word-based tattoo work. The one below certainly goes above and beyond your ‘typical’ straight edge tattoo.

    Is it just me who doesn’t get the whole Straight Edge thing?

    I don’t think it has ever really caught on in the UK and I can understand why, as sex drugs and booze are pretty much all we have happening.

    Tattoo is fine, but not for me in any way shape or form.

    Let’s keep in mind this post is more about “wow, that tattoo is really good!” than “I’m an asshole and think this is an appropriate forum to nitpick someone else’s choices.”

    Nice to see that some people still value others opions, right or not… The text and actual working of the tattoo is pretty much faultless. Shame idiots have to lower the tone by throwing their toys outta the pram and then tarring everyone in the UK with the same brush…

    Never intended to cause any upset and as I said the tattoo is fine, but not my thing.

    I should point out that I am married, don’t do drugs and drink in moderation, so I couldn’t be straight edge now anyway.

    If someone wants to point out where I insulted the tattoo or the artist (who I actually admire greatly) then I will be happy to apologise.
