Change of pace

Posted by Julene on June 16th, 2010

There’s something interesting going on in Germany, Belgium and France when it comes to tattooing. I don’t consider myself to be the type of enthusiast overly concerned with categorizing tattoo ‘styles’ (example: neo-traditional vs. traditional)… but I’m really liking whatever label I should be slapping on this style.

How’re the rest of you feeling about it?

Amazing! Some of the work I see in Tattooist Art Magazine makes me think Europe is catching up when many used to consider their tattoo art a decade behind.

Love it but no idea what to call it. I am going to keep any negativity I have about things away from here.

I don’t know if it’s a style of tattoo, or a style of art that happens to use someone’s skin as the canvas…

Or is that the same thing?
