Off the Map helps the coast
Posted by Julene on August 4th, 2010On Sunday, August 8th Off the Map Tattoo will be holding a benefit for the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana. The CRCL is a non-profit organization that has been working for over 20 years to restore and protect a sustainable coastal Louisiana.
Stop by and take your pick from a number of small original tattoos created by the artists. These little ditties were inspired by the BP gulf oil disaster/environmental preservation in general. Tattoos will be offered for a $50 minimum donation. They will be offering a collaborative print for sale as well as holding a silent auction for the original of the print and the flash sheets for the event. Here’s the big deal: the shop is donating 100% of the proceeds to the CRCL — do you need a better reason to attend?
