Rethink Your Ink at 570 Tattooing

Not sure what to do with that Goldberg arm band? Thinking about covering up those swallows on your chest?

You probably need to see Jack Morton from Rethink Your Ink. You’re in luck if you’re in the area of Ron Russo and 570 Tattooing Co. Jack will be spending a couple days at the shop, and can get you on the road to fixing those mistakes.

Rock n’ roll all night, and part of every day

Am I the only person who immediately thinks of Role Models when they see anything related to Kiss?

Hit the road, Lee

Lee O’Gorman is hitting the road for the later half of September. From September 14th to the 18th, he’ll be at Lucky Bird Tattoo in Annapolis, MD. From there, he travels down to see Ron Russo and spend September 19th to the 23rd at 570 Tattooing Company in Kingston, PA.

Anyone interested in getting work from Lee should contact the shop directly.

I must have

Octopus tattoos become more appealing to me the more of them I see. Then again, the gnarly skull courtesy of Paul Acker & Ron Russo might be what has me feeling like this is quickly becoming a must-have

Myke Chambers: On the road again

It looks like Myke Chambers has the rest of his summer planned out, and it appears he’s spending a majority of the time on the road. From July to the end of October, Myke is going to be in a variety of cities for guest spots and tattoo conventions.

If you’re interested in getting tattooed by Myke, check the details of where and when after the jump.

Blizzard of Ozz

I’ve seen an abundance of Ozzy related tattoos lately. I’m not entirely sure what’s going on but if they’re all as good as this, you won’t hear me complain.

I Just Want You

Man, Ozzy has seen better days. You know it’s bad when your better days consisted of bitting heads off of animals…

On a side note – Ron Russo, the tattoo artist who did the piece below, has an open time slot at the Chicago Freedom Tattoo Convention. If you’re interested, drop Ron a line. I’m sure the open spot won’t last long.

#FollowFriday – Tattoo Shops

Let’s be honest. Updating Twitter all of the time can be a pain in the ass. Especially if you have multiple pages, such as a personal account and an account for your business or website. There have been plenty of times that I didn’t even feel like looking at a computer, let alone trying to write something witty for the Tattoo Snob account.

With that being said, when a tattoo shop creates a Twitter account and actually keeps it updated – I’m impressed. Without further ado:

Black 13 Tattoo – The powerhouse tattoo shop of Nashville featuring Steve Martin, Josh Woods, Ian White, and Marty McEwen.

Union Electric Tattoo – Big 5 and Jim Sylvia are always posting pictures of fresh work and various antics throughout the shop.

Off the Map Tattoo – One of the most unique shops in the world, Off the Map has three top notch artists in house, and a revolving door of international tattoo artists doing guest spots throughout the year.

570 Tattooing Company – Although their tweets have slowed down over the past month, Ron Russo and the crew deliver quality work just outside of Pittsburgh, PA.

Obviously there are more shops on Twitter that we follow, but we’re going to save them until the next round.

As always, we created a list specifically for Tattoo Shops. The beauty of the list is that you can follow one list instead of all the individual accounts.
