Everybody loves…

This isn’t the first (or the last) time I’ve posted work from Jesse on TattooSnob. I can’t help it, everything he does is so damn colorful and (generally) involves animals. Let’s not kid ourselves here, everybody likes animal tattoos.

OwlDay: A less-than-common barn owl

I know, I know… everyone’s got an owl to show off lately. For the record I’m fairly sure this would be labeled a “common” barn owl by most ornithologists, though I think we can all agree that is not the case in this instance.

OwlDay: The Great Horned Death-Owl

In celebration of our very first (and possibly only) “Owl Day” here at TattooSnob, I thought you all would appreciate this beauty. The eyes on this great horned death-owl (note the skull below?) really caught my attention. I guess vibrant orange is my thing. *ahem*

Those Bostonians were clever

It seems both Scott and the bearer of this tattoo are Boston Terrier enthusiasts. Not that I blame them, because who could resist a face like that?

I Dare Say

High collars, fine shoes, and an excessive amount of ruffles affixed to the front of a man’s shirt tell me only one thing: an affinity for the finer things in life. Well, in a cat’s life in this case.

Superb-owl

Superb-owl! Get it?

Unfortunately I can’t take credit for this witty title, as I snatched it from Keith Ciaramello.

Tusk-ola

Not only did I catch myself saying “Awwwwww!” out loud after seeing this tattoo, but I’m strongly suggesting the artist make it available in a cuddle-able, plushie form as well.

Laissez-faire

It’s been a while since I saw a tattoo photo that made me stop, stare and think to myself “well that’s different than everything I’ve been looking at lately.” Looks like this is an ode to bikes, birds and business free of government restriction. (That’s just a guess, but a good one in my humble opinion.)

Furry work

One day I’ll have a portrait of my dog tattooed on me. I haven’t taken the plunge yet, as I’m not entirely sure exactly what I want. No matter what I end up with, I’ll have a sentimental picture like the one below to accompany the memory. Yes, I know it’s a little corny, but I’m a fan.

Moo-nday

What did the bored cow say when she got up in the morning?

“It’s just an udder day”

Hopefully you’ll at least crack a smile between my terrible joke and the amazing tattoo below. Happy Moo-nday!
