Flapper girls

Not like you couldn’t hit up Wikipedia yourself, but I find the links from this particular entry rather amusing:

Flapper in the 1920s was a term applied to a “new breed” of young Western women who wore short skirts, bobbed their hair, listened to jazz, and flaunted their disdain for what was then considered acceptable behavior. Flappers were seen as brash for wearing excessive makeup, drinking, treating sex in a casual mannersmoking, driving automobiles and otherwise flouting social and sexual norms.

Questions about (Ashley) Love?

Julene is just about wrapping up with our interview with Ashley Love, but we still have room for a few more questions. With that being said, we’re leaving this up to you.

Ever wonder how Ashley Love feels about the current convention scene? Or maybe about her unique approach to traditional tattoos? You could even ask if she thinks the Mets can keep Jose Reyes–okay, I doubt she’ll answer that last one, but you never know.

If you ever wanted to ask Ashley a question – now’s the time. Tweet your questions to @TattooSnob & @akaJulene and we’ll pick the best of the best. If you’re not a Twitterer, leave your questions in the comments below.

In three places at once

I don’t know if I could handle be based out of three places at once, but Maxime seems to have no problem moving between his three regular location. I know he’s back in the UK until he gets back to NYC in October, but emailing him is probably your best bet if you’re looking to get tattooed by him.

I love Ms. Love

Knee ditch tattoos are no joke… and neither are Russian stacking dolls. Is it just me or has Ashley been super-killing it in the last year?
