A tattoo for Deanna

I don’t know who Deanna is, but it’s cool to see someone take a different approach on a tattoo of this nature.

Back to the Future

I was really excited when this tattoo was submitted–the Back to the Future trilogy has always held a special place in my heart.

On a side note, I’m still waiting for my hoover board. You would have thought they would be available by now.

Frankenstein Day: Creme filled

I wish I could have been in the room when Cecil Porter told Tanane Whitfield he wanted a “FrankenTwinkie” tattooed on his hand.

Shooting people is no big deal

Apparently Martin Scorsese has a new book coming out, and he’s telling some stories. One of the stories is from the set of “The Departed” when Jack Nicholson pulling a loaded gun on Leonardo DiCaprio. To help inspire the scene, Nicholson pointed the gun at DiCapro’s head and threatened him. Scorsese claims he didn’t know the gun was loaded, but everyone, including DiCaprio, knew it was real.

I’m interested in reading more. I bet Scorsese has stories for days. I wonder what crazy things he has to say about De Niro?

Straight from the mean streets of Melmac

How old do you have to be to know who Alf is? Do 18 year and 19 year old kids know of the sarcastic alien from Melmac?

I kind of forgot about this show until I saw this tattoo, but now I’m eager to sit down and watch a bunch of episodes. Unfortunately I don’t think Nick at Nite runs re-runs yet.

Super Grover!

I realize everyone’s trying to be serious because it’s Monday, but I feel we all deserve things that make the start of our week just a little less painful. Things like tattoos related to Sesame Street, for example.

I know I’m not the only one around here that remembers Super Grover…

OwlDay: A less-than-common barn owl

I know, I know… everyone’s got an owl to show off lately. For the record I’m fairly sure this would be labeled a “common” barn owl by most ornithologists, though I think we can all agree that is not the case in this instance.
