Three years of zombie tattoo specials

This is the third year Clint’s run his October zombie tattoo special, which you can read more about below. Also included is a picture the first one he’s done for this year: a zombified Warrior Nun Areala. (More on her comic character here, and yes, that is a heavily Wingbird-influenced rack she’s rocking.)

Web of Shadows: Spiderman vs. Wolverine

I typically don’t post videos on Monday because I figure most people are getting back to work, and catching up from the weekend. With that being said, no matter how busy you are – you need to watch this video.

I’m not a huge comic book nerd, but this video made me feel like I was. If you are a comic book fiend, be prepared to watch this twice.

Brom Kah illustrations

Jessie Smith and Dan Hazelton recently collaborated on an illustration for a new comic book called Brom Kah. They were so psyched on the piece, they decided to print some 18×24″ posters of it.

Each posters costs $20 (including S&H,) and they’re available on Jessie Smith’s online store.

Day of the Joker

It’s weird how submissions happen sometimes. Within days, we received two unrelated pictures of legendary comic book characters. First one was Spiderman, and now the piece below makes reference to The Joker.

While these pieces are completely different, there’s no doubt that comic book characters are becoming an increasingly popular tattoo topic. I was never into comic books as a kid, but I understand why the appeal. The immortality and endless saga of good versus evil is fun to get caught up in.
