David Allen released some screen shots of his iPhone app, The List. We don’t have all of the details yet, but it looks promising.
The future of the iPhone app in the tattoo world should get interesting in 2010. Between this and the Hell City iPhone app, it looks like some actual entertaining and useful applications are coming out.
I’ve never been a huge fan of Lord of the Rings, but I can’t dispute the quality of Jamie’s latest work. As you can see below, the sleeve is a cover up that a previous artist started. When asked about the previous work, Jamie said “Another artist started it but he was awful. I think he was on drugs.”
Hopefully we can all learn something from Jamie’s misfortune. No, not about drugs – about picking the right artist from square one. Make sure to research your artist, talk to them, try to see pieces they’ve done in person. It really makes a difference.
