Friendly recommendation

An artist recommendation from a tattooer (can) hold more weight for me than anything else. So a serious hat tip to Jakub Settgast is in order for cluing me in on the work of Chriss Dettmer.

Not the smallest violin

I can tell you for two things for sure after seeing this tattoo. One, that it’s really cool tattoo. And two, that nobody is ever going to be able to make a “world’s saddest song played on the world’s smallest violin” comment around this guy, ever.

Sidenote: does anyone know Joel’s last name? Or fake last name? Something. The fact I couldn’t find it is driving me nuts. Got it, thanks folks!

Teatime!

I am fascinated by the whole high tea thing. You don’t have to like tea to appreciate the pretty teapot below, though.

Getting that gorilla off your chest

A funny mental image: what would it look like to watch the guy with this hand tattoo beating his chest? (You know, like this.)

White tiger

You know, if all the white Bengals belonging to Siegfried & Roy looked like this lil’ guy… well, let’s just say Vegas would’ve been a lot less interesting in the last 10 years.

Quite rosey

It’s been a minute since we’ve posted anything from Bili Vegas around here. This color-heavy rose seems like a nice “welcome back” post, wouldn’t you agree?

Not another Owl Day: Barn or snow?

When I first drafted this post I almost called the lil guy below a snow owl. Then I looked again and realized he’s a barn owl. Nothing beats catching my own mistake! (Sorry, trolls!)

Skull out of Seattle

Are the symbols on this skull paint or blood? Maybe they’re painted with blood. And maybe they mean something–or they could mean nothing.

I’m totally over analyzing this. Sorry!

Bee Day: Taking care of bees-ness

I look at an absurd amount of tattoo pictures everyday, and I’m pretty sure this is the only bee tattoo I’ve ever seen from this angle. Now that I think about it, it’s rare to see any insect tattoo from this perspective.

Creatures and babes

If you get a monster tattoo, you should probably get a tattoo of a hot babe. Just for balance, right?
