I was watching the 2012 Hell City promo earlier when I heard Durb Morrison say next year is the ten year anniversary. Wow, where has the time gone?
If you’ve never been to a Hell City before, you really need to go. Talk to any tattoo artist and regular tattoo convention attendee, and they’ll all say the Hell City shows are really one of the best shows of the year.
I always love it when the artist has something to say about a tattoo. It’s one less thing that I have to write.

I’m still disappointed I missed Hell City this year, but this video from the guys at Art Junkies Tattoo made me feel as if I didn’t miss a thing.
I’m disappointed I couldn’t make it to Hell City in Phoenix this weekend, but thankfully they’re posting plenty of pictures to their Twitter account all weekend long.
If you’re in the Phoenix area, I would highly suggest going and checking out the convention. The Biltmore is absolutely ridiculous, and it makes for a very unique tattoo convention experience.

Let’s ignore the fact that this video from Hell City Phoenix is over eight months old. Instead, I think everyone should focus on the video, and enjoy it. In all seriousness, if you’ve never been to Hell City Phoenix, you really are missing out. Watch the video below and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.
It’s not too late to book your rooms for Hell City Phoenix 2011, August 26th – 28th. How many other opportunities will you have to attend a tattoo convention at a world famous resort for $100 a night?

After Hell City was all wrapped up, Durb Morrison took an extended road trip down to Texas. During a brief stop in Austin, Durb spent some time getting tattooed by Nick Baxter. Durb joins a long list of tattoo artists who are sporting tattoo work by Nick.
As of right now, these are the only pictures I’m finding online. I can’t wait to see what the finished picture looks like.
