Start your Monday morning off right

I don’t think there’s a better way to start off Monday morning.

Way up on my wishlist

Today is ‘Black Friday’–a clear signal that the holiday season isn’t that far off. This year I’m keeping my wishlist short; all I want is a tattoo of damn near anything from Genko. Seriously, I could look through his website (thanks to Google translate) for hours.

Kamikaze with a twist

I think it’s safe to say that everyone is familiar with the original version of this, but here’s one with a twist.

Takami is headed to Germany

From November 17th to December 1st, Takami Horikoshi will be doing a guest spot at Underground Tattoo (AKA PechernInk Shop) in Krauschwitz, Germany.

The hidden gem in Japanese art

I’m starting to see more and more Daruma doll’s in Japanese tattooing, and I’m really excited about it. They’re an extremely interesting subject, and the possibilities of amazing tattoos are endless.

Gakkin at Butterfat Studios

Holy shit, Gakkin has a guest spot at Butterfat Studios in Chicago, IL from July 1 – 31. If you’re in the area and a fan of traditional Japanese work, you’d be a complete idiot not to get tattooed by him. Seriously.

Hello, wolfy

This wolf reminds me of particular Tex Avery cartoon from the 1940′s: Red Hot Riding Hood.
