Look into her eyes

I love the bird in the background, and her hair with those flowers but her eyes really seem to draw me in.

Black and gold

Once I thought of the words “black and gold”, this song was stuck in my head for the rest of the day. There are worse songs to have on mental repeat, I think.

Start your Monday morning off right

I don’t think there’s a better way to start off Monday morning.

Peer pressure

“This guy has a Phil Holt tattoo opposite this. Definitely a high standard to live up to!”
David Bruehl

To see just how amazing Phil Holt’s work is, click here. With that being said, I think David lived up to this challenge 100%.

Just lovely

It’s early and I’m tired. This makes me incredibly thankful for the fact that this tattoo can just be appreciated for what it is, instead of me having to Google deeper meanings or try to dissect the details surrounding it’s style. Just lovely, indeed.

Our first Jess Yen post

I’m ashamed to admit this, but this is our first post featuring Jess Yen. I don’t know how this happened, but be assured you’ll see plenty more from him moving forward.

Finally finished

Upon receiving this I had to ask if the tattoo was finished (it is) – the fact that it’s black and white is definitely what threw me off.

According to Andre, they’re starting the front of this guy’s torso soon. I can’t wait to see how he ties the two together! (Also, please click the image to see this tattoo at full size. The smaller version just doesn’t cut it in comparison.)

Artist Interview: Brad Stevens

A friend turned me on to the work of Brad Stevens before I moved to New York, and I’ve been a big fan ever since. It only makes sense that we interviewed this vegan heartthrob/new addition to New York Adorned before anyone else got to him!

Bad for business

I don’t know too much about the geisha aside from the limited research I’ve done online & what movies have show me… but I’ve got to say that if this happened in real life, it’d be pretty bad for business.

Laserz!

I’m really into this tattoo, specifically the lasers. It’s obviously something you can’t easily be added to a tattoo, especially a hannya mask.
