Myke Chambers spent a couple days at Off the Map Tattoo at the end of October, and it looks like it was time well spent.

Fox Day: As requested

One of the fun parts about these theme days is the interaction we have with fans and artists throughout the day.

For example, Charlie Kilshaw left a comment earlier “This is awesome news. I’ve been looking for fox tattoo inspiration for ages, so I hope you get tons of submissions! Especially … like an old school wolf, but instead of a wolf, a rad fox! Hmmm..”

Hopefully this will inspire you and point you in the right direction!

The announcement of Man Day 2011

I’ve been waiting for Ink & Dagger Tattoo to announce the dates for Man Day, and they finally did. The testerone filled event will be taking place Saturday, August 13th. From 12pm to 4pm, the crew will be at the shop hammering out $50 Man Day tattoos. From 5pm to 12am, make your way down to Twains Billards and Tap for all of the manly fun.

Last year I was fortunate enough to be able to attend Man Day, and made a video to recap the event. The video turned out really well (if I can say so myself) and it really captured the spirit of the event. At approximately one minute into the video, I show Myke Chambers and Timmy B. pretending to be very affectionate with each other. While this was obviously a joke, people really jumped on the band wagon and gave Myke and Timmy a hard time about the video. This subject came up again in Detroit, and Myke was able to record his official rebuttal.

Below are the two videos. The first video is the Man Day from 2010, and below that is Myke’s rebuttal.

Ink 4 Pink presents “Sideshow Heroes”

This Thursday, June 3rd, Ink 4 Pink presents Sideshow Heroes at The Basement in Atlanta, Georgia. The evening will be filled with freakishly appropriate art, music, and burlesque and sideshow entertainment!

Art donations from some of the best tattoo and mixed media artists in the country including Phil Colvin, Jason Kelly, Myke Chambers, Mikey Jenkins, Scott Barbier, Mikie Webb, Miguel Olascuaga, Rachel Anne, Matt Truiano, Sam ‘Jarvis’ Hinson, Ashley Shafer, Jason Monroe Raiden Cowan, Connor O’Neal, Benjamin Lande, Mandolynne Hopkins, Destiny Crum, and Darby Dust.

All proceeds from $10 door cover, art sales, and raffle entries go directly to Ink 4 Pink to raise money for this year’s ATL Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk.

A week at Gypsy Rose Tattoo

Myke Chambers just finished up the Cape Fear Tattoo Expo, and it looks like he’s going to hang out in North Carolina for a couple days. Myke will be tattooing at Gypsy Rose Tattoo in Jacksonville.
