We’re coming up on the tail end of 2011 and I just realized we haven’t posted anything new from James Kern in nearly a year. What the hell’s going on here? (This, by the way, isn’t finished. Serious oversight on our part for not having put up new work of his sooner, guys.)

According to the No Hope No Fear Tattoo website, James Kern will start taking new appointments as of January 15th.

While I’m not completely sure, I’m fairly positive these are chakra symbols. I know there’s an Ohm at the top an that’s about as much knowledge as I can impart on you about this tattoo… aside from, “Pooh! Pretty colors!” that is.

This is a pretty different piece from what I’ve been seeing lately. Whatever the bearer happens to be grateful for enough to get this tattoo, I hope they’re equally as thankful they found a tattooist capable of carrying it out. Never underestimate the usefulness of a pair of glasses in the stead of a magnifying glass.
