I don’t get biomech

Paint the town

I wish I could make it out to MusInk, but there’s no way I’m going to be swing it. Between the show and the bands, there’s no doubt it would be hell of a time.

When I was daydreaming about the idea of going, I noticed Phil Robertson was on the attending artists list. If you’re interested in getting tattooed by Phil, I know he’s still booking appointments. Give him a shout if you’re interested.

To bee or not to bee

We post a lot of big gnarly tattoos that take ungodly amounts of time to finish, but when do we post the small(er) ones? It’s kind of easy to forgot about these pieces, but sometimes they’re the best ones.

Have a small(er) piece that’s one of your favorites? We’d love to see it! Just send us a picture, and don’t forget to include the artist information!

Pussy Day: Showing that kitty love

My cat happened to be looking over my shoulder when I found this tattoo. You don’t want to know how jealous what it’s like to deal with a jealous cat, trust me. Looks like I’ll need to inquire about a cat-lover tattoo of my own in the near future.

Recap: Detroit Motor City Tattoo Expo

As most of you probably know, this past weekend was the Detroit Motor City Tattoo Expo. This year marked the 15th anniversary of the show, and despite the bad weather – the turnout was great. The artist turn out was nothing short than stellar, and the floor was packed all weekend.

As always, I brought out my camera and tried to capture some of the quality work that surrounded me. I snapped entirely too many pictures to post on here, so I’m just going to post the cream of the crop. Please remember, my photography skills are amateur at best.

If you’re interested in seeing all of the mediocre pictures I took, become a fan of Tattoo Snob on Facebook. All of the pictures from this past weekend are posted in the albums.
