I remember posting the first Tattoos & Tentacles entry back in November of 2009, and it’s been fun watching the project grow since then. When Julian told me the book was available for pre-order, I asked how soon I could get my copy. Here’s the info straight from Julian:

We’ve been talking about the Tattoos & Tentacles project since it was started, and can’t wait till the book is published. According to Julian Murray, it should be August or September.

In the past month, Julian Murray has been busy to say the least. Julian and his fiancé relocated to Minneapolis, the Tattoos & Tentacles is featured in Rebel Ink this month, and Julian shot an Amazing Race feature for Rebel Ink.

I’m really looking forward to the release of the Tattoos & Tentacle book this summer.

According to Julian’s Twitter account, they’ve had some big names shooting for the project as of late too. They’re being hush on whom though.

We just received the newest shot from Julian Murray’s Tattoos & Tentacles. Julian also mentioned they sold out of nine of the fourteen posters.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m excited about this book. This is one of the more unique projects, and it’s been fun to watch it develop.

Last week, Facebook took the liberty of removing Julian Murray’s photography page. The new page is already up, but it was obviously a major set pack.

Julian promises once his Facebook is back to normal, a new Tattoos & Tentacles picture will be released.

We’ve been watching Julian Murray’s Tattoos & Tentacles project grow from square one, and tonight the project has taken another step.

You can now own your favorite prints, as posters are now being sold online. From what I understand, several of these posters are already sold out. At ten dollars each, it’s no surprise they’re going quick.

If you’re interested in a print that isn’t a poster (yet,) contact them via e-mail or Facebook for further details.

For those of you attending Hell City Phoenix, it’ll be your last chance to shoot for Julian Murray’s Tattoos & Tentacles project.

It’s been a minute since we’ve talked about the Tattoos & Tentacles project, and while other blogs are just now mentioning it – we’re going to give you a real update on the project.

As you can see from the pictures below, Julian Murray has been busy shooting pictures but he’s still looking for models. The last time we spoke to Julian, he had just moved to Las Vegas and talked about attending Hell City in Phoenix at the end of August.
