Is it just me or is sky blue starting to appear more often in modern traditional tattooing? Regardless, it grows on me more & more every time I see it being used liberally.

What a cute (and colorful!) tattoo to be sporting so close to your face. I wonder how often this guy winds up hearing “awwwwwww!” before someone jabs a finger into the side of his neck?

It looks like Myke Chambers has the rest of his summer planned out, and it appears he’s spending a majority of the time on the road. From July to the end of October, Myke is going to be in a variety of cities for guest spots and tattoo conventions.
If you’re interested in getting tattooed by Myke, check the details of where and when after the jump.
We’ve posted several pieces by Jeff Ensminger in the past few weeks. It’s a radical increase, I know… but his work obviously warrants it.
Last I knew, Jeff was talking about taking an RV on a tour across the country. Cross your fingers, maybe next time I speak with him I’ll have more details to share.

See what I did with that title? PUN! Don’t go all literal on me, the day’s almost over and nobody needs to get set on fire today.

I’ve seen plenty of people sporting ‘heartbreaker’ tattoos, but this is the first ‘heart broken’ one I’ve come across. Typically people don’t brag about being heart broken, but I really like the contrast between these two pieces.

A couple people have asked to see an actual picture of the tattoo from the collaboration video I posted earlier this week.
Please keep in mind this tattoo was fresh when this picture was taken. I was going to take a picture tonight, but it’s just a couple days away from being fully healed.

As I’ve mentioned before, it’s always interesting to see who tattooers choose among themselves to be tattooed by. Dan Henk has joined the skull tattoo crew, below is a photo after his first session with Nick Baxter.
I know I shouldn’t ask such a stupid question, but how the hell do you guys sit through this?

Seems like there’s quite a few “ask and ye shall receive” readers out there–since posting about a lack of lettering on here we’ve received photos of some nice word-based tattoo work. The one below certainly goes above and beyond your ‘typical’ straight edge tattoo.
Bravo!

I’m always curious as to what artists choose to tattoo on themselves, not to mention who they pick to do it. Below you see Jeff Ensminger’s arm, the product of many hours of work from Nick Baxter.
