Joke’s on him

With the number of tattoos of The Joker I’ve seen in recent years that look a lot like Heath Ledger, I’m psyched to see one that bears much stronger resemblance to the comic book than the now-deceased babe they uglified for the film.

Why so serious?

I wonder how The Dark Knight would have been different if Heath Ledger didn’t die. I understand talking about that isn’t the PC thing to do, but weren’t there still scenes to be shot? Did the movie actually change or did they just use wide shots with stunt doubles?

I’m sure the Joker inspired tattoos would have happened either way. With such a unique character and such vivid imagery, it was made to be tattooed on people.

Day of the Joker

It’s weird how submissions happen sometimes. Within days, we received two unrelated pictures of legendary comic book characters. First one was Spiderman, and now the piece below makes reference to The Joker.

While these pieces are completely different, there’s no doubt that comic book characters are becoming an increasingly popular tattoo topic. I was never into comic books as a kid, but I understand why the appeal. The immortality and endless saga of good versus evil is fun to get caught up in.
